KIZ IN MCR — TERMS & CONDITIONS

By purchasing a ticket or attending a Kiz In MCR event, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. EVENT ENTRY & TICKETS

  • All Kiz In MCR events are ticketed events unless otherwise stated.

  • Tickets are valid only for the specified event, date, and time.

  • Entry is subject to venue capacity and compliance with these Terms & Conditions.

  • We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove anyone behaving in a way that is unsafe, disrespectful, or disruptive to others, without refund.

2. TICKET SALES, REFUNDS & TRANSFERS

  • Tickets are non-refundable, except where an event is cancelled by the organiser.

  • If an event is postponed or rescheduled, tickets will remain valid for the new date. Refunds may be offered at the organiser’s discretion.

  • Tickets may be transferred to another person only with prior written approval from Kiz In MCR.

  • Tickets cannot be resold for profit.

3. EVENT CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS

  • Kiz In MCR reserves the right to:

    • Change the venue, schedule, DJs, or event format

    • Postpone or cancel an event due to circumstances beyond our control (including but not limited to venue issues, artist availability, weather, or force majeure)

  • In the event of cancellation, ticket holders will receive either:

    • A full refund, or

    • A ticket valid for a future event

4. CONDUCT & SAFETY

  • Kiz In MCR is a community-focused event. Respect, consent, and inclusivity are expected at all times.

  • Any form of harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behaviour will result in immediate removal from the event.

  • Dancing involves physical movement and contact. You participate at your own risk.

  • Kiz In MCR is not responsible for injuries, accidents, or loss of personal property during the event.

5. HEALTH & LIABILITY

  • By attending, you confirm that you are physically fit to participate in social dancing activities.

  • Kiz In MCR, its organisers, staff, contractors, and venue partners are not liable for:

    • Personal injury

    • Loss or damage to property

    • Any indirect or consequential loss
      Except where liability cannot be excluded under UK law.

6. PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEOGRAPHY

  • Photography and videography may take place at events.

  • By attending, you grant Kiz In MCR permission to use images and videos taken during the event for:

    • Marketing

    • Social media

    • Promotional materials

  • If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please inform the event organiser or media team on the day.

7. AGE POLICY

  • Events are generally 18+, unless otherwise stated.

  • Valid photo ID may be required for entry in line with venue policy.

8. FOOD, DRINK & VENUE RULES

  • Food and drink policies are subject to the venue’s rules.

  • Outside food or alcohol may not be permitted.

  • Venue staff instructions must be followed at all times.

9. PAYMENTS & PRICING

  • Ticket prices may change at any time prior to purchase.

  • Early bird and discounted tickets are limited in quantity.

  • All payments are processed securely via third-party providers (e.g. Ticket Tailor, Stripe, PayPal).

  • Kiz In MCR does not store card or payment details.

10. DATA PROTECTION & PRIVACY

  • Personal data collected during ticket purchase is used solely for:

    • Event administration

    • Event-related communication

  • We do not sell or share your data with third parties unrelated to the event.

  • Data is handled in accordance with UK GDPR regulations.

11. FORCE MAJEURE

Kiz In MCR shall not be held liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Acts of God

  • Government restrictions

  • Venue closure

  • Natural disasters

  • Public health emergencies

12. GENERAL

  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

  • Kiz In MCR reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.

  • Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
